Deadly Decisions by Kathy Reichs

Ok, so now I'm a bit fed up with Kathy Reichs - or this one wasn't as good as the previous - I don't know. Atleast it took me some more time to read this than the others.

Deadly decisions is about a motorcycle war that flares up right outside of Brennans front door. Innocent people are killed as well as bikers. Brennans nephew Kit comes visiting and is suddenly involved in the ongoing investigation.

When I finally got down to reading the last part of the book it was good, but it had a little bit of a drag in the middle.

[And now I'm up to date with my book list :) Yeah]

Grave Secrets by Kathy Reichs

Another Kathy Reichs book. I'm on a roll...

This one is about a period of time Temperence Brennan spends in Guatemala looking at both old and new bones. She is tested against the bureaucracy (??) in Guatemala when she isn't allowed access to the bones she is invited to look at.

A good book.

The broken window by Jeffery Deaver

My summer vacation starred another Jeffery Deaver book as well. My sister didn't like this so much - because it was full of lists... I couldn't understand what she was talking about until I started reading it. And of course it was full of lists. All of the Lincoln Rhyme books are full of lists of evidence... I had just never thought about them as lists...

A good and suspense filled book as almost all of his books are.

Bones to ashes by Kathy Reichs

My first Kathy Reichs book. I love the Tv series bones so I was excited to read one of the books that the series is founded on. And I was not dissapointed. It was exciting and I will definetly read more of her books.

The bodies left behind by Jeffery Deaver

As usual a Jeffery Deaver book is filled with suspens and surprises. This book was no exception. It's also nice to read a Jeffery Deaver book that's not about Lincoln Rhyme. It's hereby recommended.

A place called here by Cecilia Ahern

A cute book about going a place where all the things we lose go... It's interesting with books that go outside the box :)

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

And I was soon onto book no. 2... With this book a new element is introduced into Bellas life. Werewolves! The plot thickens as a new boy enters Bellas life as well :) A boy she turns to as Edward leaves her.

This book I didn't like as much as the first one. It has a boring middle section, but in the end it is very exciting! Edward of course returns, and they talk about marriage. (Hope I didn't tell you too much now.)

Twilight by Stepenie Meyer

Seriously!!! I so shouldn't have listened to the girls in my cellgroup who talked about this series some months ago... I just knew that I would be hooked if I started reading it. And I am.

This is the first book in the series. It's about Bella Swan. A teenage girl who's moving from her mother to her father. Not reluctantly, but not with joy either. She meets a boy, and falls in love - deeply. But there's something wrong about this boy... After some scheming and asking the answer is that this boy is a vampire. A "good" vampire who doesn't kill people, but still - a vampire. And he likes Bella.

A typical head over heels love story that sweeps you in - if you let it. If you want to you can find several reasons as to why not like this book, but I was captured. So if you're willing to accept some pretty strange stuff you're in for a treat with this series.

The secret life of bees by Sue Monk Kidd

I borrowed this book from my sister. She recommended it, and I've heard others like it too... But I wasn't as thrilled as I would like to be. It was ok, but not as good as I'd hoped.

The story is of Lily Owens, 14 years old, who is formed by the last memory of her mother. Which isn't pleasent... This drives her to do stupid things, and the rest of the book is about her trying to learn more about her mother. It's also about the white-black differences that still existed in South Carolina in the 60s.

So, an okay book, but not one of the best...

Heart and Soul by Maeve Binchy

I've read many Maeve Binchy books over the years! And I love almost all of them. Especially the ones about Dublin and all the people there that she manages to weave together. There's the people at Scarlet and Feather and at Quentins and so many more woven together in this book that I really don't know if I could name them all.

This book is about a heart clinic newly opened. Clara Casey is the head of it with her no nonsense way. Through the book we get to know all of the staff, some of the patients and their families. I enjoyed reading all of the small stories that all has the heart clinic in its center.

Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks

This is a book about a woman who reads messages in bottles from a man she doesn't know to a woman she doesn't know. She is so touched by this story that she goes digging. And little did she know what she would find.

A love story about finding and losing... I liked it.
