The secret life of bees by Sue Monk Kidd

I borrowed this book from my sister. She recommended it, and I've heard others like it too... But I wasn't as thrilled as I would like to be. It was ok, but not as good as I'd hoped.

The story is of Lily Owens, 14 years old, who is formed by the last memory of her mother. Which isn't pleasent... This drives her to do stupid things, and the rest of the book is about her trying to learn more about her mother. It's also about the white-black differences that still existed in South Carolina in the 60s.

So, an okay book, but not one of the best...

Jeg liker den boken veldig godt, men smaken er som baken (for å bruke den klisjéen) :)
